CHYRON INTRODUCES LYRIC 3.1 SOFTWARE

CHYRON Corporation has announced the introduction of Lyric 3.1 with several new features.
This latest graphics software version features many new enhancements including MOS protocol, fast recall of Aprisa clips and dual channel Aprisa support, and 2D text mapping onto a 3D face.
Lyric is the Windows NT graphics creation and playback software for the Chyron Duet(tm) graphics and animation system.
"Chyron Lyric software just keeps getting better in terms of delivering workflow efficiency and interoperability," said Doug Green, Director of Software Development. "Version 3.1 represents a major step forward in providing the tools that customers need for content creation and playout of graphics, video, and audio."
Lyric 3.1 includes: MOS protocol; from an AP-ENPS client workstation, a journalist can now update Lyric templates; User Profiles accessed from the CONFIG menu; new font filters; ‘Play to End’ functionality for internal clips; Internal loop feature in Clips; Audio objects added to the timeline; Preview canvases are now present for each Frame Buffer in the Duet; Improved iNFiNiT! import window; Truetype Font Character Preview; Fast recall of Aprisa clips; Dual channel Aprisa support (via Ethernet control); and 2D text can now be mapped onto the face of a 3D object.
