Auction Sale of Lux Centre assets set for February 12

Following the closure of The Lux Centre of Hoxton Square, London in October of last year the assets from this centre for film video and the digital arts are due to be auctioned at 12 noon on February 12 2002.
The sale, held by Marriott & Co., Valuers and Auctioneers of Plant & Machinery, will be held at Unit C22 Hastingwood Trading Estate, Harbet Road in North London.
The sale will include two AVID MC1000 XL editing systems, one AVID MC offline XL editing system and a large quantity of Betacam and VHS VCR’s and VCP’s including Sony, JVC and Panasonic. Also on sale will be a Neilson Hordell rostrum camera, a Calder stainless steel daylight film processor, two Rank Cintel MkIII Telecine machines and two Steenbecks (a Super 16 (6 plate) and a Super 8 (4 plate)). A large range of video and film cameras from Sony Arriflex, Bolex, Aaton, as well as Sharp LCD projectors, Arri and PB Blonde/Redhead lighting equipment , tripods, sound recording and editing equipment and Apple G4’s.
