Atlee boosts BBC Films Legal and Business Affairs team

Geraldine Atlee has joined BBC Films as Legal and Business Affairs Manager, it was announced.
Joining the Rights and Business Affairs team headed by Jane Wright, Head of Rights and Commercial Affairs, Atlee will report to Legal and Business Affairs Head Isabel Begg.
Most recently Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Qwerty Films, Geraldine started her in-house legal career at BBC Worldwide, joining PolyGram Filmed Entertainment in 1996. There she worked initially in distribution and then in production financing and acquisitions until PFE was taken over by Universal. Geraldine continued working with Universal Pictures International until joining Qwerty Films in 2002.
Begg said: "Jane and I are delighted to have Geraldine on our side as she brings such a wealth of experience in the film business. With Livy Sandler as our longstanding team member and Helen Giles now back with us as a qualified lawyer, we have a legal team that can be efficient and effective."
