'Don't Tell The Bride' Moves To Sky 1

Sky 1 has confirmed that it is to transmit the new season of Don't Tell The Bride. The series will air from summer 2016, and will feature the usual outrageous stag antics, bridal fashion fails, and overbearing bridesmaids as a new group of grooms aim to plan the perfect wedding for their bride-to-be.

Commissioned from Renegade Pictures, the show will air on Sky 1 next summer, with an initial two-series run (24 episodes). The channel has said Don't Tell The Bride will be 'pacier in format, with action building quickly to the much-anticipated bridal gown reveal and drama of the big day', but fans of the show can also expect the usual traditions along the way – such as bad budgeting, hideous hen-dos, and the odd disgruntled mother of the bride.

Commenting on the announcement, Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, said: "Charting wedding dramas for nigh on a decade, Don't Tell the Bride is best in class family-friendly entertainment and a British TV institution to boot! Many of our customers are already huge fans of the show so we're delighted to be giving the brand-new series a home on Sky 1."
