Hague K11 Compact Camera Jib Unveiled

Hague Camera Supports has unveiled the new Hague K11 Compact Camera Jib.

The Camera Crane has been designed to be lightweight and simple to set up, allowing users to enhance video productions by achieving professional-looking crane shots.

The jib is supplied in two parts, 800mm (31½") long, which slot together to create a jib with a vertical crane movement that can lift a camera from ground level to a height of 2.6 metres (8ft 6"). It mounts directly to a tripod in the same way as a camera is mounted and can be held by ¼" or ⅜" camera screws. The jib uses the tripod's head for pan movement, allowing it to pan from side to side seamlessly, and move round through 360 degrees. Locking the tilt on the tripod video head ensures the camera will remain level as the jib is raised up and down.

A standard bar weight or a sandbag can be used for counterbalance, with the telescopic counterbalance able to be adjusted to achieve the correct balance to match a camera's weight. The ideal camera weight is between 0.5kg and 2kg, but the jib will support up to 2.5kg when mounted to a suitable tripod. It can also be mounted to a stand, available to purchase as an optional extra.

The standard retail price of the Hague K11 Compact Camera Jib is £140.00 (ex VAT), and £168.00 (inc VAT).
