RTÉ scoop prizes at the 15th Galway Film Fleadh

The Best Feature Documentary accolade at the 15th Galway Film Fleadh was awarded to 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised', formerly known as 'Chavez - Inside the Coup', directed by Kim Bartley and Donnacha O'Briain and produced by David Power.
Partly funded by RTÉ, this is the fifth award for the outstanding documentary since its world premiere on RTÉ last February. Other awards it garnered include the prestigious Global Television Grand Prix at the Global Banff Rockie Awards 2003, the EBU Golden Link Award 2003 for Best Co-Production from EBU Members, and earlier this month, the Gold Nymph Award for Best Current Affairs Programme at the Monte Carlo Film Festival and the International Competition Award at the Marseilles International Documentary Film Festival. It has also been nominated for an award at the Latino Film Festival, which takes place in Los Angeles later this month.
