Avid and Digidesign work together on joint eCommerce solution
The European headquarters of Avid Technology have announced the second phase of the launch of a joint eCommerce solution between Avid and Digidesign, phase one being the launch of the US and Canadian store in October 2002.
The webstore, which is now live in the UK, means that customers will have a single destination to purchase both audio and video solutions including Avid and Digidesign hardware, software, training and materials as well as Avidwear and Digiwear apparel. The webstore will greatly improve Avid and Digidesign’s cross selling opportunities and help open up new markets by making lower cost products and merchandising more widely available.
The site will be launched in Germany, France and Spain in the coming weeks and Avid and Digidesign staff have been responsible for work on the development and design of the site.
