Panasonic Strengthens Partnership With IOC Museum

News Image
Panasonic has announced a new development in its partnership with the IOC, as the official Opening Ceremony on 21 December 2013 marks the re-opening of the Olympic Museum to the general public.
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, the museum houses permanent and temporary exhibits relating to sport and the Olympic Games movement.
After 20 years, the institution closed last year on 29 January 2012 for renovations to be completed by the end of 2013.
The break in public opening has led the museum to reevaluate how it offers experiences for its visitors.
The IOC Opening Ceremony will see the museum open its doors to the public again and showcase a range of Panasonic AV technology solutions.
The re-launch of the museum will deploy more than 50 Panasonic professional projectors, over 30 professional displays, five broadcast cameras and more than 30 security cameras throughout the exhibitions, art gallery, learning zones and hospitality areas of the building.
