Como Pro-SDI converter available from Holdan
Holdan have announced the availability of the COMO DV-1394 Pro SDI at The Production Show, representing the third generation of DV to analogue video converters.
Besides the DV to analogue video conversion, the Pro SDI also comes with SDI and AES/EBU inputs and outputs allowing conversion of analogue and DV to SDI and vice versa. All outputs are working in parallel, so that you can connect a Betacam or DV tape machine, and one video control monitor directly to your DV camcorder or player.
The Como-1394 Pro SDI also has an integrated Genlock Interface, so it can be easily synchronised to a studio reference signal and integrated into broadcast and studio environments.
The unit is supplied in a 1 U 19” rackmount case and has two 6-pin IEEE1394 connectors - one on the front and one on the rear.
