Rushes complete work on World Cup anthem

Rushes have announced that they have completed post-production on England's official song for the 2002 Fifa World Cup
Entitled 'We're On The Ball', the track was written and sung by television personalities Ant and Dec and has been described by Columbia as a "flag-waving, terrace-chanting, sing along monster of a footie anthem".
The track was produced by British super-producer, Mike Hedges (of Travis, Manic Street Preachers and U2 fame) and features the official England Supporters Club on backing vocals, as well as the England Supporters Brass Band.
Ant and Dec were delighted to be asked to perform the song. They said: "We are really chuffed The FA chose us to write and record the official song. Obviously our previous crimes against music weren¹t taken into account when they were passing judgement!"
Adrenalin, Rushes new dedicated music video department, was also chosen to be part of the project. Senior VFX artists Claire Pollock and Derek Moore worked together to meet a tight deadline, compositing over 20 shots of the artists shot on blue-screen, and adding real footage of England footballers into television screens. This was complicated by the fact that the TV screens were out of focus for some of the shots, and had to pull focus as the point of interest changed. The film was further enhanced by grading and vignetting to give a more polished look, and archive video footage of the England team was carefully treated to make it look like it was shot at the same time as the rest.
The whole video, is an amusing, fast paced, adrenalin fuelled escapade, featuring Ant and Dec dressed as England manager, Sven Goran Ericksson and his sidekick, Tord Grip. The video contains scenes of the duo training the England team and, eventually leading them to victory. The video also contains inserts of actual football coverage, featuring the likes of Michael Owen, Sol Campbell and David Beckham.
Claire was rightfully proud of her work. She said: "I can't believe how much we achieved in such a short space of time. We even had to use Beam TV to get the director's comments (from Spain) so we could incorporate his changes before the record company saw it. He was amazed at how quickly we responded to his requests."
