Leader LT 443D multiformat video generator
Leader Instruments' new LT 443D multiformat video generator can be flexibly expanded to accommodate the wide range of digital broadcast signal formats now in common use.
Based on a 1U mainframe housing up to four plug-in modules, the LT 443D comprises a main signal generator, controller and power supply unit. A 20 character dual-line backlit LCD provides direct readout of control parameters in conjunction with dedicated front-panel pushbuttons.
The LT 443D-GL genlock module enables the mainframe to be locked to external NTSC/PAL black burst, 525/625 progressive analogue sync or no less than 20 HDTV analogue tri-level sync formats. Genlock timing can be adjusted in fine and +/- 0.5 line (coarse), +/- 1 field or +/- 5 frames.
Output signal format and timing are independently adjustable. Three independent black signal generators are incorporated.
