Atomos Announces Connect AC Converters

Atomos, creator of the award-winning field recorders Ninja-2 and Samurai and the Connect converters, has announced two new Connect converters - Connect AC H2S and Connect AC S2H - at NAB 2013.
"These two new converters are the AC-powered, fixed facility counterparts of our recently introduced Connect converters," said Jeromy Young, CEO and Founder of Atomos.
"We listened to customer feedback and learned just how much people hate external power adaptors - or 'wall-warts' - so we decided to eliminate them. Connect-AC converters are powered by a standard figure-of-8 cable - that's more convenient and more reliable."
Both converters include test pattern generation and audio test tone and are rack-mountable.
Connect AC Features:
Built-in AC for fixed facility usage
Connect AC H2S converts from HDMI to HD-SDI
Connect AC S2H converts HD-SDI to HDMI
Test pattern generator
Audio test-tone
Rack-mount kit option
