'Blurred' images cleared by BBC Library Sales

The video for 'Out of Time', Blur's current Top 10 hit, is composed entirely from Gulf conflict footage from the BBC's 'Correspondent: Warship'.
Following a deal brokered by BBC Library Sales, Silvergnome / HLA Associates created the four minute video, focusing primarily on Petty Officer Jill Ameperosa, after the band had seen the documentary about the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The warship was stationed in the North Arabian Gulf as the US Armed Forces prepared for war.
"This is a terrific example of our ability to provide contemporary motion imagery in a dynamic new context," said Paul Maidment, Sales and Marketing Director, BBC Library Sales. "Advertising agencies, corporations and publishers are increasingly using content such as this from the BBC's world class collection - we are very much a creative force for these communities."
