View Vision blue5 At Inter BEE 2012

Vinten will showcase its exciting new Vision blue5 pan and tilt head and tripod system to visitors of Inter BEE, in Tokyo, Japan on 14-16 November in hall 5, booth 5310.
Japan’s most prestigious broadcast industry event will see the first local unveiling of the Vision blue5, the newest member of the highly successful Vinten Vision blue family. The pan and tilt head has a payload capacity range of 5.5kg to 12kg / 12.1lb to 26.5lb @ 100mm CofG, and has the same outstanding performance as the original renowned Vision blue system.
The lightweight Vision blue5 provides experienced professional broadcast videographers with a cost-effective solution that delivers a high level of quality and performance. Operators can experience all of the innovative features associated with Vinten’s heads, such as infinitely adjustable Perfect Balance and LF drag technology, to provide uniquely smooth control and consistent movement quality.
US based sports camera operator and DoP, Tom Guilmette, recently added Vinten’s Vision blue5 head to his shooting package. He says it is the perfect complement, whether shooting a segment for sport or going on-location for exciting background images.
"The Vision blue5 is designed for smaller lightweight cameras, so I can get the right balance and silky smooth action I expect from a vision head, in a tighter, smaller and less-expensive package. The new head is similar to the original ‘blue’, but it can take more weight. It’s a great match for my set-up. The amazing Perfect Balance system on the blue5 allows me to dial in precise control for smooth movement without any surprises."
Andrew Butler, product manager, Vinten, says: "InterBEE 2012 offers the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate Vision blue5 to this important market. At the show professionals from Japan’s broadcast industry can experience the renowned Vinten qualities built into the Vision blue5 for themselves. We believe it sets the standard for the latest generation of light weight camera supports.
The introduction of the Vision blue5 represents the next generation of Vinten’s pan and tilt heads and tripod systems. The design was built on the successful performances of the Pro-10 and Vision 5AS heads, combined with the accessibility and ease of use of the Vision blue, to offer customer’s uncompromising performance and genuine broadcast quality expected from a Vinten system.
The Vision blue5 and Vision blue are available alongside a selection of Vinten’s innovative support systems at Inter BEE 2012 in hall 5, booth 5310.
