Vinten release next generation Autocam controllers

At NAB 2003 Vinten have launched two new Autocam controllers, designed to meet the diverse requirements of robotics in a modern broadcast environment.
With the capacity to control from eight to an unlimited number of cameras, the Series 200 and PCS-125 controllers feature scaleable architecture and allow multi-user, multi-facility control of pedestals, heads, elevation units and tracks.
Windows and real time OS technology make the enhanced operational features and expansive system architecture possible. This ensures that the system is compatible with all current and many obsolete Autocam products.
The Windows based touch screen user interface utilises TCP/IP network architecture, allowing complete freedom to control one or many devices, either in the next room or on the other side of the world.
The scaleable system architecture enables a facility to purchase equipment to suit their current needs, leaving them secure in the knowledge that they can easily add to the system with hardware/software upgrades and extra robotic heads.
