Snell To Debut KudosPro

Snell will debut KudosPro, a next-generation platform that delivers high-quality image-processing capabilities in a compact, affordable, format-flexible package, At Broadcast India 2012, on the Cinecita stand.
The KudosPro range is available at an exceptionally low price point, making it a realistic option for the many broadcasters, news agencies, and content providers that must consider cost and space issues while also ensuring high-quality delivery of large numbers of channels to domestic and international audiences.
The KudosPro range is the latest addition to Snell's award-winning lineup of control and monitoring, modular infrastructure, routing switchers, multi-viewers, and conversion products. KudosPro is a universal platform that seamlessly handles up, down, and crossconversion of all SD, HD, and 3Gbps video formats, as well as a wide range of audio formats including AES, embedded audio, and Dolby® E. The unmatched flexibility of the KudosPro platform makes it an ideal choice for applications such as broadcast, playout, international program exchange, content repurposing, and high-density teleport and satellite distribution. With features such as noise reduction, legalizer, user-selectable aspect ratio conversion, and extensive picture enhancement tools, KudosPro makes it easy to correct signal problems and bring incoming feeds within specifications, while simultaneously saving uplink bandwidth.
Snell will introduce six new KudosPro products at Broadcast India 2012 including single-, dual-, and quad-channel format and frame-rate converters. Housed in an attractive and robust 1RU package, all KudosPro products provide comprehensive control capabilities via an intuitive control panel. Full system management and monitoring is provided via SNMP or Snell's RollCall system. Additional functionality includes relay bypass, HDMI® monitoring output, closed caption and timecode management, and AFD support.
