Print Out enjoys successful six months

Print Out Video Publishing have been enjoying a busy start to 2002, handling a diverse range of projects for clients including Sony Music, MPC, Warner Brothers, The Foreign Office and Leagas Delaney.
Based in London’s Dean Street, Print Out Video Publishing was established in 1990 by managing director Carl Fuss and now offers a full range of services including stills from video, all types of video encoding – from archive to streaming – DVD production and transfers between video, print and Internet services. An in-house design company, Tidal Creative, specialising in both print and ‘new’ media also forms part of the Print Out Group.
Recent projects have included creating and retouching images from video destined for print on behalf of clients including VTR, The Mill, Soho 601, Maybeam (for the Star Trek Fact Files) and RSA Films, while on the DVD front, Print Out has been in demand with many clients including 4:2:2, White Cube and the Moving Picture Company.
The company’s editing facilities have also been handling projects for Sony Music, Art Angel, and Warwick. So far this year upwards of 30 webcasts have been broadcast featuring edits created by Printout of interviews, gigs and ‘making-of-the-promo’ footage in order to feed the constant and growing demand for online content.
Video Encoding, one of Print Out’s most popular services, has been in demand from clients including Maverick Media, CCC Soho, Banner and Phorensic.
Less than a year since their launch Printout Video Publishing’s online clip distribution service, Clipvault, is proving valuable to major advertising agencies and production companies including MTV, Arden Sutherland-Dodd, Action Time and advertising agency Banks Hoggins O’Shea FCB.
Carl Fuss said: “We’ve had a great start to the year, particularly with our Clipvault online video distribution service. Encoding and related new media work now accounts for 50% of our turnover and demand has been overwhelming since we introduced the services three years ago."
