JVC's latest digital projector used for HD screening of 'Chunky Monkey'

JVC Professional, a leading provider of projection technology, have demonstrated their ultra-high resolution commercial QXGA projector at the first HD screening of the feature film 'Chunky Monkey'.
The film, produced by Head Gear Film productions and directed by Greg Crutwell is a tongue-in-cheek illustration of a character named Donald Leek, who has several bizarre ruminations involving Julie Andrews. The film runs for 87 minutes.
John Carpenter, General Manager of JVC marketing services, said: "JVC projected these images to a wide-range of visitors from the film and entertainment world who will have the chance to view the HD capabilities of our DLA-QX1G projector.
"As our projectors are right at the forefront of digital technology, it was simple for us to fit into this HD environment."
The QXGA projector from JVC Professional has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and an extended contrast of more than 1000:1.
With an outstanding brightness of 7000 ANSI lumens, the DLA-QX1G projector delivers clear, sharp and film-like detail on a large screen.
