Countdown To Rushes Soho Shots Festival 2012

Rushes Soho Shorts Festival, celebrating its 14th year, will take place from 11 to 20 July.
Recognised internationally as a leading showcase of short films and renowned for the championing of both emerging and established creative talent, Rushes Soho Shorts has built a phenomenal following and is known for maintaining a significant bridge between the independent and commercial filmmaking communities.
199 new films from 22 countries will be competing across live action, animation and factual categories, with the Official Category screenings taking place every evening throughout the festival at The Institute of Contemporary Arts. With over 70 events and screenings through the 10 days of the festival, there is something for everyone interested in film.
A destination day for networking is Sunday 15 July, the BAFTA/Rushes New Filmmakers Day brings together 16 events, film screenings, trade fair and networking drinks. Session tickets are £5 and include free access to showcase screenings, the Trade Market, CV Workshops and the Networking Drinks Reception. See the BAFTA website for more details.
