Skillset's Set Crafts industry standard approved

Skillset have announced that the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and the Scottish Qualifications Authority have approved their Set Crafts Standards.
Owned by the Construction Industry Training Board, the qualification will be awarded by CITB/City & Guilds once accreditation is completed later in the year.
The Standards will cover Decorative Occupations, Wood Occupations (including Wood Machining) and Plastering.
Skillset has also had approval to revise the Costume and Make up and Hair Standards as part of the current project developing standards for all occupations in the Art Department.

The working title for the set of Standards is `Design for the Moving Image`. The full set of Standards and qualifications structures will be ready towards the end of the year.
