GTC Welcomes 60th Sponsor: Octica Professional

The Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC) has announced that Octica Professional has joined the growing list of GTC sponsor companies.
Octica Professional represents and offers support for a range of leading manufacturers. It is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for all Bebob, Cartoni, Chrosziel, Cineroid, Protech, Que Audio and TheLight products. Established in 2008 with experienced personnel from the broadcast industry, Octica offers full technical back-up and service operations for all the products it represents.
A Little More Info...
Bebob: Lens controllers, LED lighting, power adaptors and general camera accessories from Munich-based Bebob.
Cartoni: Octica offers the full range of Cartoni products including the C20S/C40S Dutch and Lambda heads, plus the innovative new Maxima head.
Chrosziel: German manufacturer Chrosziel has long been at the forefront of mattebox and follow-focus development. It offers a wide range of products, including lightweight supports and shoulder rig systems. Chrosziel also manufactures collimator and projector systems to allow full testing and quality control of lenses.
Cineroid: Manufacturer of compact electronic viewfinders for HDSLR and other 35 mm form digital cameras. The range includes HDMI, HDSDI and dual HDSDI/HDMI models.
Protech: Japanese manufacturer of compact fibre-optic camera control units and camera shoulder mounts that allow the use of handheld cameras as full shoulder mount cameras.
Que Audio: Australian company Que Audio produces ready-to-go 'plug and play' microphone kits. All kits include a microphone and other essential accessories, eliminating the need to source associated accessories such as shock-mounts and wind-socks.
TheLight: The new range of high-powered LED lights from European manufacturer TheLight uses articulated panels and offer extremely high output as well as low power consumption, providing an alternative to any fluorescent or softlight.
The addition of Octica brings the total number of GTC sponsor companies to 60, including many of the industry's most highly respected manufacturers, product distributors and supporting service companies.
The Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC) is an independent non-profit-making international organisation that cares about TV camerawork and the people who make it their craft.
