Warp X Nominated For 18 Awards
UK-based production company, Warp Films & Warp X titles, were nominated for a massive 18 British Independent Film Awards yesterday afternoon.
The title, Tyrannosaur - directed by Paddy Considine, has been nominated for seven awards, while Submarine - directed by Richard Ayoade has been picked up for five awards and Kill List - directed by Ben Wheatley has been honoured with six nominations.
The production company worked on all three films.
The digital film studio of Warp X is based in Sheffield and by harnessing cutting edge digital technology with low budget production methods the studio attempts to make high value films on a shoe string.
These newly recognised films where managed and produced by Warp for the low budget feature film scheme set up in 2006 by the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund and Film 4.
