PPC Innovate With 36 New Patents

A manufacturer and developer of advanced connector technologies for the cable and telecommunications industries has been awarded 36 new patents during July, August, and September. These patents, representing the total awarded in the United States, China, Canada, and Europe, bring the total number of worldwide patents held by PPC for design and utility to over 446.
"As a manufacturer in a competitive space, it's vital for us to remain on the cutting edge and to continually develop and improve our technologies," said David Jackson, PPC's Vice President of product development. "In addition to the awarded patents, we also filed for dozens more last quarter. Our customers expect us to help them improve the integrity of their networks and we're committed to bringing them the best possible solutions."
Among the patents issued recently are several that represent design and structural elements of the company's flagship SignalTight line of connectors. These connectors uniquely ensure continuity, even when the nut is loose. This exclusive product line helps operators overcome connectivity issues that are inherent in subscriber installs.
The list of new patents also includes improvements to PPC's HDMI cable designs. As the interface of choice for connecting today's high-definition televisions and components in the home, HDMI cables must continually evolve to keep pace with the potentially finicky equipment they link together. PPC's focus on HDMI connectivity is producing a steady stream of problem-solving products that enable its operator customers to keep ahead of today's installation challenges.
