Final delivery for PEC

PEC Video Installations Ltd, the London-based systems and installation company, has now confirmed its request to Hamlet for the urgent delivery of 60 Video Scope units.
This completes an order from the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to refurbish more than 90 broadcast studios throughout the country.
The longstanding order had been subject to a short blip as a result of local conditions beyond the control of all concerned, but today Christopher Lorne, Marketing Director at PEC, commented: "now that the situation has become calmer the project is moving rapidly toward completion". Although the Hamlet products are of lower value in comparison with some of the other items on the NTA shopping list, they nonetheless represent an invaluable contribution to this enormous project.
The Hamlet product range comprises analog, digital, video and audio, test and measurement plus monitoring devices. In this instance the requirement was for compact analogue devices providing accuracy and reliability without the need to worry about CRT tube replacement, focus, astigmatism, parallax and high EHT, power-hungry devices. Indeed, the Video Scope, which caters for analog composite, component and stereo audio, is subject to none of these attendant problems and may be displayed with great advantage at any convenient location in the television centre on any monitor as preferred.
With more than 60 Video Scope units to be delivered before the end of this month, the total supplied will reach 80.
