AKA Rains In Soho

Rain Post is about to open the doors of their new 4500 sq ft facility in Soho London and have commissioned studio Interiors specialists AKA to design and manufacture all the desks for the editing and audio suites.


AKA Design were asked to use a combination of custom and hybrid desks to fit out the studios which include five on and offline editing suites, two Baselight suites, a main mixing and ADR audio studio and a tracklay suite.
AKA fulfilled the requirements for the modern facility, using tailored desks from the AKAProduct range combined with custom grading and audio desks. This gave the facility a continuity of design and overall aesthetic the client requested whilst meeting the technical and budget requirements.
Rain Post offer services for low to medium end feature films, TV broadcast, short form broadcast and corporate work.
Vaughn Mullady, Rains Head of Sales and Marketing said: “We worked closely with AKA's MD Guy Wilson who made the process of translating our concepts into functional designs seem effortless and we are delighted with the results."
He added: “AKA totally understands the need for both function and form and really delivered something which was both stylish and technically correct.”
This is the first phase by Indian media and entertainment group High Ground Enterprise, of a projected £10m investment that could also include facilities in Manchester, the US and Canada.
