Sky Snaps Up 'Hotly Anticipated' Us Drama

Sky Living today announced its acquisition of a fast-paced US drama Ringer in an exclusive multi-season deal with CBS Studios International that will enhance the channel's prime-time drama content.
Debuting in the US on the CW network on September 13th, followed swiftly by its UK premiere on Sky Living, Ringer (13 x 60) will help spearhead an action-packed autumn schedule and was one of the most eagerly awaited pilots at this year's LA Screenings. It dominated this year’s Comic-Con and has generated a huge buzz worldwide among both fans and industry insiders.
Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Bridget, a woman on the run who assumes her wealthy and estranged twin sister's Siobhan's identity, only to discover that her sister's life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she's trying to escape.
The deal was brokered by BSkyB's Acquisitions Manager Louisa Forsyth, and Stephen Tague, Senior Vice President of Europe CBS Studios International.
