Call for entries for the IFTA Awards 2002

Entries are now being sought for the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) Awards 2002.
Programmes and films broadcast or screened between August 1 2000 and 31 July 2002 are eligible for entry.
Designed to recognise and reward excellence, the IFTA Awards are Ireland¹s primary film and television awards. They represent the hallmark of achievement in Irish film and television and are voted for and judged by film and television industry practitioners.
The awards are operated on a biennial basis and this year IFTA has introduced a new entry system and increased the number of its awards from fifteen to twenty.
Full details and entry forms are available on the IFTA website: www.ifta.ie . The deadline for receipt of entries is 5.00pm on Friday, 13 September.
IFTA is funded and supported by RTÉ, BBC Northern Ireland, TG4, the Irish Film Board, UTV, the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission and TV3.
