Pro Motion Hire Celebrates 5th Anniversary Success

A broadcast equipment hire company, has announced that it enjoyed its highest ever revenue for the month of May 2010, giving further reason to celebrate its fifth year in business.
In addition Pro Motion Hire is moving its Brighton operation to larger premises in 'Soho-by-the-Sea' to handle increased demand for hires in the Southern region.
Duncan Martin, Director, Pro Motion Hire, said: "Given the tough global economy and the poor state of the production market, I couldn't be happier with our May results. We strive to provide unbeatable quality of service and always endeavour to accommodate any reasonable request, and I think that shows in our rebooking rate. We have also worked extremely hard in recent months to ensure we have a solid depth of stock, and that we are first in line to offer new equipment such as the Canon HD Image Stabiliser lens."
Other factors that contributed to Pro Motion Hire's bumper month included a substantial amount of equipment hired out for various World Cup projects, and the successful launch of the company's Cine Motion division. Cine Motion equipment is aimed at promo, documentary & filmmakers and covers equipment from industry leading manufacturers including Zeiss and P+S Technik, as well as DSLR equipment which is fast growing in popularity.
Added to this success, Pro Motion Hire is also moving its Southern region business to larger premises in Brighton to handle increasing demand in this area. The new offices, led by Andy Holland, will include larger kit rooms and a bespoke demo area as well as two new members of staff.
Duncan concluded: "We recently held a DSLR event in Brighton and were overwhelmed by the response,” added Martin. “There is a real thirst for knowledge here, and we are certainly seeing a growing opportunity for us with more local productions being made."
