Novel Entertainment MD Vice Chair Of Pact

The Managing Director of Novel Entertainment, has been announced as the new Vice Chair of the Pact Council, following Hat Trick Productions’ Debbie Manners’ recent move to chair.
Mike Watts has been an active member of the Pact Council for nearly 4 years and brings with him a wealth of industry experience, having held senior positions at Walt Disney Television, World Productions, Central Independent Television, Virgin Vision and Chrysalis Records, before co-founding Novel Entertainment, an independent production company that specialises in children’s and family programming, including such hits as Horrid Henry.
Debbie Manners said: "I’m delighted that Mike has stepped up into the role of Vice Chair. He is already a great contributor to Pact and it will be hugely helpful to have him working across the full range of issues we will need to address this year."
Mike commented: "As Chair of the children’s and animation policy group I’ve been closely involved in Pact’s public service agenda for several years. I look forward to continuing my children’s and animation work as well as my being more involved in broader public service content issues."
