Bridge Technologies Expand Spanish Presence

A designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced analysis, measurement, and monitoring solutions has announced a partnership with Madrid-based digital consulting and engineering specialists Optiva Media. Bridge Technologies have joined forces to expand sales and support of the Videobridge line of digital monitoring products in Spain. The award-winning range of digital TV probes provides the most advanced headend-to-set-top-box monitoring solution available to broadcasters, telcos, and network operators.
"The Videobridge monitoring system offers the first real end-to-end monitoring and analysis system for digital media operators," said Daniel Léon, Managing partner, Optiva Media. "Not only does it give a uniquely comprehensive overview of the entire delivery network, but it also offers a very usable and easy to understand detailed picture of the data, which makes it an extremely powerful and effective tool."
The award-winning Videobridge series of probes offers an innovative approach to the monitoring and analysis of converging services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, DVB/ATSC, and ETSI TR 101 290, the Videobridge series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network. With full support of the innovative and patented MediaWindow technology, the Videobridge series is at the forefront of digital TV measurement and monitoring technologies.
"Optiva Media is a valuable addition to our presence in Spain, with a fund of experience in IT projects for media applications," said Philip Burnham, Sales Director, Bridge Technologies.
"After another record year of expansion in 2009, we're excited about the potential for digital television and media in Spain and southern Europe. Optiva understands this market well, and is well equipped to help deliver the benefits of the Videobridge system to Spanish service providers."
