Irish stand confirmed for MIPCOM

There will be an Irish stand at this year's MIPCOM market in Cannes.
So far six Irish companies are confirmed to exhibit at the Irish Group Stand at MIPCOM from October 7-11 2002.
Jointly exhibiting under the banner of Ireland On Screen are Ardmore Studios, Like It Love It, Network Ireland Television, TG4, Tyrone Productions and Northern Ireland based Brian Waddell Productions
This is the fifth year running that the sector itself has financed its own independent stand space at this major television market.
MIPCOM is expected to attract 10,000 delegates to the Palais at Cannes where well over 2,000 exhibitors will be selling their latest television programme and video/DVD productions. More Irish distribution and production companies are expected to be confirmed through September, while RTE International will have a separate stand.
