Animal Direction is a leading pet modelling and animal casting agency. We provide animal models of all shapes, sizes, breeds and varieties for use throughout the creative and media industry, be it for TV, online and social campaigns, PR or advertising.

Working to a philosophy of kind, fair and ethical animal handling, we’re committed to helping you achieve your vision in a professional, animal-friendly environment.

All of our dog models, cat models and other Animal Direction members have been carefully assessed to ensure they possess the necessary obedience skills. And for more specific requirements, we offer bespoke training solutions from our team of highly skilled, professional animal trainers.

A bit about us…
Everyone at Animal Direction is a pet owner and lover of animals, great and small. It’s this caring nature that carries through every project we work on and we always put the animals first and will not do anything that would bring disrespect, harm or discomfort to any animal. Which means all the animals on our books are 'pets' and have not been bred to be put on stage.

Our Dog Models
Our dog models are trained and well behaved to ensure you get the result you need for your production or media project.

We have both Pedigree and Cross-breeds available of all ages and each with specific abilities - be they agility trained, dancing, working or show dogs.

Our Cat Models
Our cat models have been assessed to ensure they are placid by nature, happy being handled and with confident personalities. From characterful moggies to unique pure breeds, we’re confident you’ll find the perfect cat model for your production.

To make searching easier, we’ve divided our cat models into pedigree and non-pedigree and remember; this is just a very small selection of the hundreds available to us.

Puppies and Kittens
We regularly enrol new kitten and puppy models across the UK, and work with breeders for when an entire litter is required.

Unfortunately you can’t take them home afterwards!

Horse Models
Did you know, there are more than 350 breeds of ponies and horses in the world today? This means we’re continually adding to our growing portfolio of horse models. These include everything from Thoroughbreds and Show Jumpers to Ponies and Miniatures.

Rabbits & Reptiles
The popularity of pet rabbits has been on the increase over recent years, and we have a variety of breeds available to hire to give advertisers that perfect ‘ahhh’ factor!

We also have a range of reptiles available including Bearded Dragons, Geckos and Tortoises - of all sizes! All reptile bookings come with a qualified and specialist handler.

Birds and Other Models.
There are more than 11,000 species of birds in the world! Whilst we can't claim to have every type registered with us, we do have a growing number of the more common varieties available across the UK, from barn owls to budgerigars; and parrots to chickens.
