I am a Freelance Lighting Cameraman / Camera Operator based in Central Scotland, near Edinburgh and Glasgow, with 20 years of experience across documentary, news, drama, lifestyle, factual, children’s, sport, multi-camera live OBs, corporate productions and commercials. With regular clients including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, The Discovery Channel, Sky and IMG Sports Media I work throughout the UK and worldwide to consistently deliver creative, editable material in a range of styles to suit diverse production requirements.

Working with all of the main professional camera formats (FS7mkii, FX9, F5, F55, Amira, C300, XDCam, etc) I am happy to provide whatever equipment is needed for your production large or small. I also have excellent contacts with other broadcast professionals in Scotland, so if you need a sound recordist, jimmy jib operator, aerial drone operator or autocue operator, I can recommend the best.

I am fully insured, including Public Liability cover, and hold an i-Visa for working in the United States (valid until 2022).
