Nigel Booth joins IPV as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Cambridge-based Internet Pro Video Ltd (IPV) has announced the appointment of Nigel Booth as its Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Booth's key mandate will be to look after its sales and marketing initiatives worldwide and he joins IPV after five years as Vice President of Business Development for Leitch Europe.
Welcoming the appointment IPV CEO David Cole said: “I am delighted that Nigel has joined our team at IPV. With over 18 years experience in developing business opportunities and revenues he is the ideal candidate to oversee our worldwide sales and marketing plans.”
Booth added: “IPV successfully launched its video browsing technology into the professional video market, revolutionising the way that video is managed. With solutions for Windows Media, MPEG4 gaining momentum and its knowledge of handling video over IP networks, IPV is ideally placed to play a pivotal role as the IT and broadcast worlds converge."
In his previous role his responsibilities included the formation of a team focused on the introduction of new product lines and revenues, building successful commercial relationships with companies both in and outside of its core markets. Prior to this Booth was Sales and Marketing Director for Tekniche Ltd where he oversaw the rapid global growth in sales and played a key part in the trade sale to Leitch Technology Corporation in 1996.
