CARPENTERS ADD AVID TOOLS

LEADING events and corporate communications specialists Carpenters have added in-house non-linear video editing to their Heathrow-based facility.
Carpenters, whose clients include such high-profile companies as Safeway and Ferrari, recently installed a new edit suite based on Avid Xpress Elite, purchased through Premier Reseller root6.
The new facility, dubbed 'The Ark,' will considerably extend the in-house range of services from the company, which has a successful 20-year history in the conferencing, events and equipment hire business.
MD John Carpenter said: "New technology enables presentations to become increasingly sophisticated. While we've been involved in corporate video production for some years, we decided that the time and the technology are right to move the process in-house. Now we can provide a one-stop-shop for broadcast quality video, including advanced 2D and 3D graphics capabilities, which will enable us to provide a wider range of cost-effective communications solutions."
