Scripps Networks Interactive's Food Network and Fine Living, another popular lifestyle channel within Scripps' portfolio are now available on Norway's largest cable platform, Canal Digital Kabel TV.
The deal with Telenor Broadcast Holding AS, part of Canal Digital Kabel TV, sees the Food Network and Fine Living channels available to over 500,000 subscribers on the platform's Digital Basic Tier. Food Network will broadcast in both HD and SD, with Fine Living available in SD. This is Food Network's first distribution deal into the Norwegian TV market. Canal Digital Kabel TV subscribers will enjoy an unmatched menu of food entertainment in March with top Food Network series including the new exclusive premiere of Reza’s African Kitchen, Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,Guy’s Big Bite: A McConaughey and Fieri Feast and delectable Tuscan food from Debi Mazar and her husband Gabriele Corcos inExtra Virgin. Fine Living's signature programming line-up provides viewers with an inspiring mix of modern living and design entertainment shows that offer fun, fresh ideas for every corner of life. In March, Canal Digital Kabel TV subscribers can look forward to Celebrity Vacation Homes, Giada in Paradise and My Yard Goes Disney alongside regular series Color Splash, House Hunters and Chef Abroad. The deal was brokered by Louise Cottrell at Chello Zone, Food Network EMEA and Fine Living's distribution partner.
