Projects Department & Photon Beard forge closer alliance

Photon Beard, manufacturers of lighting equipment for the broadcast and photographic market, has announced a closer working relationship with Projects Department Ltd (PDL) who specialise in the design, supply and installation of lighting systems.
The agreement will see Peter Daffarn, Managing Director of PDL take on the additional role of Sales and Projects Director for Photon Beard whilst Mike Perry of PDL will assume the additional role of Dealer Manager.
Graham Wainwright is to continue as Managing Director of Photon Beard whilst Alan Gooch will begin the process of winding down for a well earned retirement.
"All other staff within the two organisations are unaffected by the agreement. This agreement will offer our customers the best of both worlds," commented Graham Wainwright.
"They will benefit from the detailed lighting knowledge and experience of PDL whilst working directly with the manufacturer. PDL will continue to offer alternative, independent options for lighting systems that do not fall within the Photon Beard product range such as Control and Dimming systems, HMI lighting and tungsten luminaires for full production studios."
PDL & Photon Beard are on a shared stand at IBC 2002 in Hall 11, stand 720.
