Chyron and S&W collaborate on new switcher range
Chyron Corporation and Snell & Wilcox (S&W) have agreed the integration of Pro-Bel's Sirius router into the new S&W HD and SD3060 switchers.
The 4U Sirius router provides an extremely compact and powerful high definition solution for the new S&W switchers. In addition to providing exceptional signal performance, the Sirius router also supports the demanding control requirements of many mixing applications, allowing for when multiple crosspoints have to be accurately switched in a single frame.
The S&W HD3060 is a 3M/E high definition switcher with 64 inputs which, like the other switchers in the range, is able to handle all known HD formats and includes powerful DVE options, including warps, tiling, ripples, rolls and peels.
Moreover, the effect options are fully integrated within the unit and require no extra rack space or external connections.
The SD3060 includes the same array of inputs and keyers, only in standard definition.
