ITV Use Cutting Edge For Post Production On Hell's Kitchen
Cutting Edge Post UK has again provided all post and IT facilities for Hell's Kitchen UK.
For the series, based at Three Mills Studios, Cutting Edge Post installed, managed and supported an on-location post production village comprising 14 edit suites and over 48TB of shared storage.
The propriety tapeless workflow system used allowed all streams coming out of the restaurant control room to be kept online at both online and proxy resolutions for the duration of the project. The system stored over 2100 hours of footage recorded over 18 days.
Any of the 70 workstations connected to the IT network can search, browse and compile material using the Cutting Edge Post CMS Logging System. The CMS logging system has been successfully used on every past UK and German series of both 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' and 'Hell's Kitchen'.
This is, in fact, the fourth series of 'Hell's Kitchen' that Cutting Edge Post has been involved in.
