'Fry-Up' For BBC Four

DCD Media-owned West Park Pictures and Prospect Cymru Wales is to produce a series of authored essays from Stephen Fry for BBC Four called More Fry in America.
After travelling over 20,000 miles across America, visiting each of its 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, and filming BBC One's Stephen Fry in America, Stephen has now returned to the UK with a number of themes and issues on his mind about modern America.
More Fry in America moves on from his travels in America and sees Stephen back in Britain exploring new subjects in depth in a series of five authored essays.
Andre Singer, Creative Director, West Park Pictures, said: "We felt there were so many subjects that had interested Stephen during filming, which we wanted to explore more deeply but weren't able to do so in the BBC One series.
"We are delighted that BBC Four has ordered More Fry in America to examine Stephen's inimitable observations of America."
More Fry in America is produced by John Paul Davidson and executive produced by Andre Singer for West Park Pictures and Prospect Cymru Wales. It was commissioned for BBC Four by the BBC's Richard Klein.
West Park Pictures, a subsidiary of production and distribution group DCD Media, is a producer of documentary content with an international flavour; it has established links with well known UK presenter personalities and produces work in association with The Prince's Charities.
Its recent broadcasts on BBC2, 'Stephen Fry: HIV & Me', which attracted sizeable audiences and acclaim, will be followed by two more series presented by the same person.
The company was founded by one of the UK's most highly respected film makers, Andre Singer who produced many of Werner Herzog's films including the 2006 sci-fi release The Wild Blue Yonder, awarded the Critics Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
