Blackmagic Design Appoint Simon Westland

Blackmagic Design has announced the appointment of Simon Westland as Sales Manager for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), effective immediately.
Blackmagic Design manufactures the world's highest quality video cards, converters and routers for the post production and television broadcast industries.
Westland will manage Blackmagic's continued growth across the region, working with new and established channel sales partners.
"Simon has extensive experience of working with resellers and distributors in this region and his appointment is a further demonstration of the Blackmagic's expansion," commented Stuart Ashton, Blackmagic Design's EMEA Business Development Manager.
"Together, we shall focus on Blackmagic's rapid organic rise in sales in the EMEA region and will develop further markets for the company's leading technology," he said.
Westland joins Blackmagic Design from Quantel where he worked with customers in the broadcast and post production markets across in Central and Eastern Europe, India, Middle East and Africa.
