October North Delves Into Glamour World With New Commission

October North has been commissioned to produce Glamour Girls (working title), a 6x30 minute documentary series for BBC Three, that will go behind the scenes to reveal what it really takes to be a model.
The series has exclusive access to The Samantha Bond Model Agency, which is celebrating its 30th year, and is credited with discovering Jordan. It tells the stories of the home and working lives of Sam's girls, as they strive to follow in the footsteps of their now famous predecessor Katie Price.
These days the career choice for teenage girls isn't doctor or teacher, but glamour model, enticed by glossy lad mag shoots and the fame and fortune they appear to bring. Glamour Girls will explore the day to day lives of the girls trying to get to the top of the industry and discover just how glamorous the glamour industry really is.

October North opened earlier this year and forms part of the strategy to broaden October Films’ talent base and extensive programming catalogue.
Glamour Girls is an October North production for BBC Three commissioned by Danny Cohen and Maxine Watson. The series will be directed and produced by Joe Lister and Suzie Samant. It will be executive produced by Emma Worthington for October North and Maxine Watson for BBC Three.
