Entries For BRITDOC Pitching Forum Close June 27

Applications for the Pitching Forum at BRITDOC must be in by Wednesday, June 27.
The documentary festival, which returns to Oxford July 25 to 27, is the place to come if you have a feature documentary project in development, if you want to learn more about international financing, online distribution, to meet festival programmers, sales agents and hear international feature filmmakers.
As well as the return of the Pitching Forum, organisers are holding several other innovative structured networking events so that you can meet the people you need to get your film developed, financed and sold.
International funders attending include - from North America - HBO, IFC, ITVS, Ford Foundation, Sundance Institute, Discovery Studio and A&E. From the rest of the world, ARTE, SBS Australia, NHK Japan, DR Denmark and Al Jazeera.
This year BRITDOC have added an Online Co-Production Market and Completed Films Market to the festival so that every delegate can upload projects, trailers and photos and message attending funders, distributors and commissioning editors to arrange meetings at the event.
Also worth checking out is the Surgery – where ‘doctors’ including Sundance programmer John Cooper and other producers, distributors and other experts standing by to give one-on-one meetings whatever the problem.
BRITDOC will screen 10 British feature docs and 10 International in competition. There is an opening night banquet in the great hall, a punk rock karaoke party and plenty of sun drenched lawns for you to hold your meetings on with a cool Pimms in your hand.
