Darlow Smithson Productions To Produce 'The Real Phil Spector'

Darlow Smithson Productions, an IMG Media Company, is to produce 'The Real Phil Spector', a 60-minute documentary film for Channel 4 about the rise and fall of legendary music producer Phil Spector.
Set against the backdrop of Spector's trial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, the documentary will deliver a compelling history of Spector's bizarre life - from his humble beginnings in the Bronx, to the creation of his signature 'Wall of Sound' and eventual descent into distrust and paranoia.
The producers have secured exclusive access to family members, friends, artistes and employees who have been witness to the full force of Spector's volcanic and unpredictable temper. A ruthless businessman, Spector's revolutionary approach to pop production has made him one of the most-famous record producers in history.
