Video Scalers At NAB From Gefen

Two new video scalers from connectivity solutions provider Gefen demonstrate their ability to connect different video formats and output scalable, high definition video resolutions.
The HDMI to HD-SDI Scaler connects consumer HDMI audio/video sources to HD-SDI displays for a seamless integration of diverse components.
The HD-SDI to HDMI Scaler connects broadcast video sources to HDMI displays, providing real-world testing of quality and performance.
Both Scalers support all standard and high definition resolutions up to 1080p in multiple broadcast formats. Each offers a cost-effective and simple method of integrating consumer video sources and displays in studio production work and testing.
The Scalers' simple, plug and play method of installation is supplemented by a range of features that guarantee the best visual performance with no signal dropouts or delays.
These include video de-interlacing with edge interpolation, advanced noise reduction, detail enhancements and color correction. Users are able to further tweak video with brightness and gamma selections.
