BDL-Autoscript win Polish Television order
BDL-Autoscript have won a £40,000 order from Polish Television for eight base stations and 15" TFT Flat Panel High Brite on-camera prompters.
The prompters will be set up in several studios at Polish Television’s Warsaw station and brings the total number of BDL-Autoscript installations in service to 35.
Waclaw Tylawski, technical director for Polish Television, said: “We looked at a number of teleprompting manufacturers, but chose BDL-Autoscript because they offered the most cost effective solution as well as a Polish version of the Winplus software.”
The order was placed through the Polish distributors A.F.Marcotec Warszawa. Jacek Kadaj, director, said: “We developed the local version of the Winplus software with BDL-Autoscript and we know it is really appreciated by Polish Television.”
Chris Lambert, managing director of BDL-Autoscript, added: “This is an excellent order for us which I believe underlines a great strength of the intuitive WinPlus Prompting System - that the operator screens can be easily translated into the local language which, in turn, reduces training time to a minimum.”
