CHYRON’S NEW AND UPDATED PRODUCTS AT IBC

CHYRON’S will be launching their new and enhanced products this year at the annual IBC conference in Amsterdam.
Chyron Corporation, who will be exhibiting with its subsidiary, Pro-Bel on stand number 3.250 at this year’s show, will be demonstrating many of their new products as well as the significant upgrades to their existing range.
The digital CODI is a new PCI card giving Broadcast 601 performance. This is the newest member of the CODI character generation family which supports the Lyric compositing application in addition to third party products.
Another product which will be on display is the Duet HD/SD graphics system, a real-time video-processing platform running applications such as Chyron’s Lyric and Liberty as well as a wide range from third party developers.
Also new to IBC will be the MPx hardware option which provides improved rendering by utilising multiple video graphics engines.
Other product launches and revamps displayed at IBC will include the Liberty 7.1 a production system for graphic stills, Aprisa Family which includes the latest enhancements to the Aprisa 250, Interactive Television which includes the interface to Microsoft’s WebTV platform and the Lyric 3.0 a Chyron’s Windows NT character generation and animation software application.
