SKILLSET APPOINT FILM ADVISOR

SKILLSET, the National Training Organisation, has appointed its first ever Film Advisor to ensure that the film industry has a strong voice in determining its own training opportunities.
Paula Smith, who will be responsible for leading on all aspects of Skillset’s work with and for the industry, will also be the main channel of communication between the industry and Skillset, to ensure that an open and free dialogue takes place.
Early priorities for Smith are to make contact and build strong relationships with key people in all areas of the film industry, especially producers, the studios, trade associations, the guilds, unions and training providers.
