The Foundry announces full OFX support for ASSIMILATE’s SCRATCH system
Leading visual effects developer The Foundry has announced full OFX support for the latest version of ASSIMILATE’s SCRATCH Data-Centric Workflow Solution for post production/DI.
This new development gives SCRATCH users access to The Foundry’s complete range of visual effect and image processing plug-ins.
OFX is an open plug-in standard for developing 2D digital visual effects, enabling platform hosts to take full advantage of The Foundry’s Tinder, Furnace and Keylight plug-ins.
ASSIMILATE was an early supporter of the open API for visual effects, with the basic OFX architecture forming part of the very first SCRATCH system launched in September 2004.
The Foundry has since worked closely with the SCRATCH development team to fully support its effects, and now SCRATCH users have full access to The Foundry’s range of plug-ins.
