QUANTEL EDITBOXES FOLLOW INSPIRATION DEAL
UK-BASED Quantel have received an order for two Quantel Editbox FX systems from Turkish Radio-Television Corporation (TRT).
The order coincides with the installation at TRT of the first Quantel Inspiration integrated news and sports production system in the region.
Director of Erdem, Quantel’s agent for Turkey, Mahmut Tuncel said: “Working close to air, TRT needed not only an edit system which produced high quality results as fast as possible, but was also capable of rapidly producing multiple versions for different slots and format requirements.”
One Editbox will be installed at TRT’s Ankara facility and the other in Istanbul.
Recent enhancements to Editbox FX include an eight superlayer option for complex applications, 3D integration with Maya on Quantel, keyframe control of all effects functions and a host of new effects tools.
